Bio

I am the mother of one Penelope Rose, toddler and comic genius. When not with my favorite person in the entire world, I'm on a quest to put pieces of the cancer puzzle together and figure out how we can better diagnose and treat leukemia. I am also lucky to be married to Tim, bicycle addict and editorial smooth talker at the University of Chicago Press. Tim and I are the fortunate "heads of household" for 55 undergraduates at the University of Chicago. The stories we could tell....

This journal is about how I see things as I cling to the bumper of my life, careening madly down the dusty road, driver unknown.....
